Puduvai Bharathiar Grama Bank is a Regional Rural Bank in the Union Territory of Puducherry. This bank is jointly owned by Government of India, Government of Puducherry and sponsored by Indian Bank. Puduvai Bharathiar Grama Bank sponsored by Indian Bank was established on 26.3.08 by Government of India vide Ministry of Finance notification no.1/16/2007-RRB (i) dated 26.3.08.  The bank was inaugurated by  Mr. P. Chidambaram, Hon`ble Union Minister of Finance on 01.6.2008. Sri.V. Narayanasamy, Hon`ble Minister of State for Parliamentary affairs, Sri. N. Rangasamy, Hon`ble Chief Minister of Union Territory of Puducherry and Dr.M. Ramadoss, Member of Parliament, Puducherry and Sri. M.S. Sundara Rajan, Chairman & Managing Director of Indian Bank and Sri. A.S. Subramanian, Executive Director of Indian Bank were among other dignitaries who took part in inaugural function.

Puduvai Bharathiar Grama Bank, Puducherry has given a notification for the recruitment of Officer Scale-I & Office Assistant vacancies. Candidates who have appeared in the Common Written Examination for RRB’s conducted by IBPS in September/ October 2014 and have valid score card may apply online from 14-08-2015 to 28-08-2015. • Officer Scale-I: 07 Posts
• Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 08 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18-28 years i.e should not have been born earlier than 03-06-1986 and later than 31-05-1996 (both dates inclusive) for Officer Scale-I Post as on 01-06-2014, 18-28 years i.e should not have been born earlier than 02-06-1986 and later than 31-05-1996 (both dates inclusive) for Office Asst Post as on 01-06-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs - CWE-III conducted by IBPS in September/ October 2014 and Personal Interview.

IBPS Score Card (CWE) Details: Candidates who have been declared qualified in RRBs - Online CWE conducted by IBPS in September/ October 2014 should have obtained
